Day 18 (Wednesday): Ephesians 2:11-22
Today’s Passage
Read the passage – Ephesians 2:11-22
One major issue is conflict between nations. At the extreme end we see wars, but more frequently on a personal level, there is racism and minor conflicts between different ethnic groups. Christ’s reconciliation is powerful. As humans our tendency is to favour people who are like us, but Christ abolishes our differences breaking down the walls between us.
Questions to Consider
- What has Jesus done to break down dividing walls?
- What does this mean in terms of our attitudes to different nationalities in the church?
- What is God doing with us spiritually?
Prayer
- Lord, prepare the hearts of those we invite to be open to attending Mission 25.
- Ask that we would arise as a church and that the churches around us would rise. Pray for an awakening in our neighbourhood in which we see people from different nationalities come to Jesus.
